How to fix earphones?

Howdy guys,

Did you know? Some of the earphones gets torn apart and all the wires gets damaged and comes outside of wire! Also some earphone's jack stops working! But you can fix it

Follow these steps to fix torn part:

  • You have to buy only Fevikwik and Plumber Teflon Tape!

Plumber Teflon Tape : BUY NOW

  • If you buy it from Amazon so you have to purchase around 5 bucks because Amazon sells both good in pairs! But if you buy it from Hardware shop so both will come under 1 dollar.

  • After getting both stuffs clean the torn part and make it straightforward.

  • After that, apply the Plumber Teflon Tape around the torn part.

  • Then apply Fevikwik around the layer of the tape.

  • Then let it dry for a while.

  • When its dried, your earphones are ready to use!!

Follow these steps to fix jack:

  • Firstly, remove the cap of the jack and cut the wired out of jack.

  • Then burn the Nylon part from wires and remove it.

  • After that, get new jack. If your earphone have mic so buy the 4 pole jack but if your earphone doesn't have mic then buy the 3 pole jack.

  • ​Then, apply the soldering paste on the all wires and attach the wires as shown in the figure.

  • Attach all the wires using soldering instruments.

  • When it's done, close the cap of the jack and try to use your earphones!!
